WET formed in 2005 when John Geary, Packy Lundholm and Jason Levi collided creating a geyser eruption of power trio jam rock. Geary and Lundholm alternated guitar, bass, and vocals, with Levi providing a backbeat of perpetual motion.
With consistent yet sporadic Chicago performances, a recurring side project around the members various other endeavors, Geary and Levi established a strong writing relationship penning piles of originals together, bringing them to life live and in the studio whenever the stars aligned. The trio cut initial recordings of a handful of originals like "Beside You", "Jailbait", and "Downtown".
Simultaneously, Geary was contracted by a renowned Ad Agency to compose and produce dozens of Jingles and broadcast campaigns, for which he was won numerous awards.
Meanwhile Lundholm established himself as a session assassin playing on just about every recording produced in Chicago, joined nationally touring chip tune pop group "I Fight Dragons", and self produced his own EP.
Levi moved to LA with his drums, and has been giving that thump thump to the rockers out in LA LA land.
WET has remained Geary's vessel for original tunes. He's continued to write and record as WET, self producing tracks like"Got Love", "Blue, "Colors" and "Glow".
Geary is currently performing a Live Looping based 'one man' set as WET, and will be bringing a full band WET back to audiences this spring.
